Hyperspace, would you like it could exist for real?

Hello writers and readers,

As seen it on many movies and tv series, like Star Wars, Star Trek, Dune, Stargate, would you like Hyperspace could exist?  Or there is somebody that think it exist ?

Let me know your opinion, comment here in my blog or on my other social accounts, Twitter, Facebook etc.

But what is Hyperspace? Well for the ones who don't know it, here we go:
Hyperspace is a faster than light method of traveling  in the space. There are some areas in the space that co-existing with our own universe which may be entered using an energy field or other device.

Entering and exiting in this areas thus directly enables travel near or faster than light  and almost universally with the aid of extremely advanced technology.

This phrase of Isaac Asimov is perfect to me
"Through hyper-space, that unimagineable region that was neither space nor time, matter nor energy, something nor nothing, one could traverse the length of the Galaxy in the interval between two neighboring instants of time."

I took inspiration from movie Stargate for write my book with amazing title Hyperearth,  two girls found a portal in a castle that bring them in another world.

I think it is the dream of every reader and writer to travel and discover thousands world through Hyperspace!  Imagine to traveling the Moon  and with your starship enter to the warp hole of Hyperspace and faster than light you are out watching Saturn rings with admiration, it wouldn't it amazing?

August Ames commits suicide after being bullied

Hello all,

This time my post will not about books, I've read on news that a young girl  died today, August Ames, born Mercedes Grabowski aged 23, she was a pornstar.
I barely heard her name maybe on Twitter but I didn't know much about her, a sad loss since she was very young, she was always a human being also if  she was marked pornstar.

The reason of her death hit me:

"August Ames commits suicide after bullying for not wanting to have sex with man who did gay porn"

She was cyber bullied  on Twitter and accused of being homophobic after she publicly chose to not work with an unidentified actor, and close friends told that they suspect her social media presence and recent harassment may have contributed to her death.

It's incredible that one person must be forced to do something that doesn't want, and when she did her choice she was marked homophobic by the audience of Twitter and the internet, and also in this case showed the power of it and it have contributed to destroy one person.

Sad to admit that girls in the world of porn are just puppets on hands of big companies, and that reminds me what happened months ago with the producer Harvey Weinstein, who raped lot of girls,  thinking with his power nobody would have talked about it,  glad some girl refuse him and the thing coming out.

Not good that some girls in 2017 aren't free to choose what they want, and if they refused that must be destroyed by social media or they would have not work forever like actress or on tv shows (in case they meet that "producer")

For knowing more about it just check this link

Be wise with your words. Saying things can cause people to kill themselves.

The Crown of Stones- Magic Price by C.L. Schneider

Hello writers and readers,

Today I would you like to let you know about the new book I'm reading!
It's  The Crown of Stones- Magic Price  of   author C.L. Schneider.

I must say that I really wanted to read this book from long time,  very attracted  by its cover but little  worried about its lenght: 503 pages, reading it now I think will be a interesting and not too long.

Here is a short description of The Crown of Stones:

Born of the Shinree, a fallen race reviled for their inborn addiction to magic, Ian Troy is no stranger to scorn. His people, drugged to quell their deadly spells, are bred and sold as slaves. Conscripted into the army at a young age, Ian was made to fight in Rella's long-standing war against the brutal Langorian invaders. For six years, he battled as the queen demanded: without magic. But as Rella's defeat became imminent, Ian defied orders and turned to the Crown of Stones, an ancient Shinree relic of untold power. Harnessing its magic, he brought peace to the realms, but at an unthinkable price.

A decade later, Ian is still haunted by the tragic aftermath of that day. Living as a bounty hunter in self-imposed exile, he curbs his addiction with wine and regret. But when a fateful encounter with a pretty assassin brings Ian's past crashing into the present, his addiction is awakened. The land he gave up everything to protect is once more in jeopardy, and denial is no longer an option. To save the realms, Ian must embrace the one thing he fears most: his own power.

The book is part of trilogy:

The Crown of Stones-Magic Price
The Crown of Stones-Magic Scars
The Crown of Stones-Magic Borne

K.S. Marden New Release ! James Witch-Hunter

Hello  writers and readers,

Sorry for the lack of news this months but I had super busy time, with writing ( just a little) and with my nephew at home for holiday and I couldn't find time for do nothing!

I would like to inform about a new release! Here details below.

Title: James: Witch-Hunter
Author: K.S. Marsden
Genre: Urban Fantasy
Release date: 1st October 2017

~Prequel to the Witch-Hunter trilogy~

James Bennett is a Yorkshire lad, making the big move to Oxford

to start university.

His ambitions involve getting a good education; impressing the

Rugby Club; and not throttling his roommate. All perfectly normal

drama, until Hallowe'en.

A girl's murder throws James into the dangerous world of witches,

and those that hunt them.

After playing a sidekick in the Witch-Hunter trilogy, it's only

fair that James gets to be centre stage in his own prequel.

This can be read as a stand-alone, and does not contain any

spoilers. It may contain witches, bad jokes and cringe-worthy

scenes; but definitely no spoilers.

About the Author:

Kelly S. Marsden grew up in Yorkshire, and there were two

constants in her life - books and horses.

Graduating with an equine degree from Aberystwyth University,

she has spent most of her life since trying to experience everything

the horse world has to offer. She is currently settled into a

Nutritionist role for a horse feed company in Doncaster, South

She writes Fantasy stories part-time. Her first book, The Shadow

Rises (Witch-Hunter #1), was published in January 2013, and she

now has two successful series under her belt.

Charlotte had just made her second coffee of the day, when she

heard a very insistent banging at the front door. Not in the mood for
visitors, she reluctantly opened it.

And was met by the sight of James.

In a dress.

“I'll never get used to your humour, James.” She said, stepping

aside and letting him in. “Fancy some fresh coffee? And when I say

fresh, I mean instant stuff I've only boiled once.”

James closed the door behind him, and made his way through the

narrow corridor to Charlotte's tiny kitchen.

Charlotte promptly poured an extra coffee and added sugar, her

normally bright eyes were red, and it was clear she'd been crying.

“I broke up with Nathan.” She said, looking embarrassed that he

had to see her like this.

“I think my roommate's a murderer.” James countered.

Charlotte handed him a mug of coffee, shaking her head. “When a

girl says she's broken up with her boyfriend, most people would

offer... never mind. You win. Why is Hunter a murderer?”

James gently lowered himself down onto Charlotte's rickety sofa.

“I followed him last night. He was bein' weird, and I have a tracker

on his phone-”

“And he went to this warehouse, where...” James trailed off, his

throat closing around the words.

Charlotte misread his inability to speak, and gently rubbed his

shoulder. “It's alright, you're safe here. Who do you think he

“Bea.” James gasped out. “You remember the blonde, Scottish lass?

They hooked up at start of term; then the other night she was

looking for him; next thing you know, she's dead!”

Charlotte put down her coffee cup, her hand shaking too much to

hold it. She looked at James in all seriousness, “And you saw

Hunter kill her?”

James shook his head, thinking back to last night, and the hooded

figures. He was sure it was Hunter, “I couldn't clearly see who it

was, but why would Hunter be there? It's one hell of a coincidence,

that he bails on the Hallowe'en party and ends up at the same

warehouse where the girl he was shagging ends up getting sta-”

“Did you physically see him there?” Charlotte asked.

“No, I was following a tracker.” James admitted.

“An illegal tracker, that'll never hold in court, James.”

James snorted, “Trust the trainee-lawyer to say that.”

“Hey, I'm just trying to see every angle.” Charlotte said, punching

his arm. “There could be another, perfectly normal explanation.

Maybe someone mugged Hunter and stole his phone – that sort of

person would be more likely to head to the dodgy side of town.”

“Ha, it'd have to be the king of muggers to get the better of

Hunter.” James argued. “He's super-fast, super-strong, and has

anger issues. Which all adds up to someone very capable of

“Do you not remember how we first met? It's not often I get thrown

against a wall, instead of the usual handshake. And I do rugby

training with him – trust me, it's like getting hit by a car-”

“James, you're exaggerating.” Charlotte sighed.

“And I've seen him run – I forgot to show you.” James dug out his

phone from the flowery handbag, and quickly found the video he'd

taken weeks ago. “Look – look how fast he is! And don't you find it
weird that he's never that fast in rugby games? It's almost like he's

holding back.”

Charlotte looked at the video, and when the brief clip was over, she

shrugged, “It doesn't look that fast to me.”

“Well, it seemed it when I was watching with my own two eyes.”

James tucked his phone away. “He's not normal.”

“Yes, but there's a huge leap between what's not normal, and a

killer.” Charlotte said, exasperated. “Don't get me wrong; I want to

help you James, I really do... have you been to the police?”

“Yes, I stayed there overnight.” James answered. “I got knocked

out, and some cop must'a found me. Next thing I know, I'm waking

up in a cell.”

“Oh no, what happened? Did someone attack you?”

James opened his mouth the speak, but he didn't even know what to say.

He remembered getting knocked off his feet by some powerful

force, but that didn't make sense.

“What did the police say?” Charlotte asked, when it was clear

James wasn't giving her an answer.

He shrugged, “Not much, just that Bea had died. They were

dodging a lot of my questions.”

“That's normal police protocol for an ongoing investigation.”

Charlotte said, knowledgably.

James shook his head. “There was summat not right about the

whole thing. It just felt shady.”

Authors who also publish with big name publishers may submit books as long as the submitted book is published independently. Books must be published between September 1, 2016 to June 1, 2017. Nominations for books published before or after these dates will not be accepted.
  2. Nominations will begin at midnight CST every January 1, and continue until midnight CST on July 1. Voting will begin at midnight on the morning of September 1, 2017.

Anyone will have the ability to vote for one or more books once every day, in each of the categories. Authors may vote for their own books, but please, if you do, be respectful of others and vote for someone else’s book too. We realize there may be a few people out there who would win no matter what it takes, but if we discover someone violating the rules laid out here (voting multiple times from numerous devices or hiring large groups of people to vote, for example), the author will be banned from the awards for life.
  9. First, second, and third place authors will be chosen by Poll Maker at the close of voting. Please allow a few days for us to compile the results. Winners will be announced on our website, on the Summer Indie Book Awards Facebook page, as well as in the Facebook event itself. We will also make every attempt to contact the winners through other means (Facebook or Google search, or via the Amazon author page) if necessary.
  10. Badges will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners, with the category of the win included on the ribbon. My Current WIP, Magic Prague...

Hello writers and readers,

I would like to let you know my new book I'm writing, working in progress WIP for short.

I haven't set the title yet, But it is based in the beautiful city  of Prague, a city that I love.

A city that fascinates everyone, well almost all, wonderful at day and magnificent also at night that create a unique atmosphere with its gold lights  of street lamps over  the beautiful baroque buildings.

Well in this beautiful scenery that comes Jack, an american photographer that is living in Essex, Great Britain. He is in Prague for a photo shoot, to search magical and places that tourists never find.

Jack once arrived at his apartment( he booked it from web, instead to take hotel) found this gothic building a little creepy  but okay was cheap, so he can't demand too much from it. The owner is a woman in her 50s and looks like a clairvoyant.

Mystery in mystery, Jack will meet the daughter of a witch, a magic street  that transports him in the place he is thinking at the moment he is walking that magic street, he meet  Jiri a bridnet, a  hybrid human-alien teen ager connected with quantum computer.

Jiri saved Jack from the Vodnik creatures (see picture up) .  All this events surprised  him, since he wasn't used it to meet all this people and the magic street included.

At the moment I'm at 12,000 words, just another effort and I'm near  to finish it.
I think  the genre will be  contemporary fantasy.

Stay tune for the new updates.

Useful Writer's Tips for Indie Authors

Hello writers and readers,

I have found a good article about writing tips  and I would like to share with you, I think could be useful for beginners writers, well also for me too!
All want to know the perfect way how to write, but I think everyone has its style but I think my tip over the ones on this list is:   just be yourself.

1. Don’t write linearly: Don’t set out to write something from beginning to end. A story is meant to be read from front to back, but not necessarily created that way. If you have an idea for writing the sixth chapter first, then start there. The epilogue can even be the first thing you put down on paper, then work your way back. Scattered chapters will eventually be filled in, and it will force you to look at the story from different angles, which may present different ideas or new approaches. You’d be surprised how well this works when a whole book starts coming together. It’s also great for getting around writer’s block.

 2. Have two or more projects on the go: Speaking of writer’s block, having more than one project on the go is never a bad idea. Although focus and dedication are paramount to completing a work, sometimes you inevitably get stuck. It’s good to be able to move on to something else instead of feeling frustrated and stagnant. You don’t have to have a few big projects happening either … maybe you’re penning a novel, but also some short stories and an article or two.

 3. Be your own editor: There are days where I have difficulty writing altogether, so I’ll switch to editing my stories rather than trying to create them. Never assume it is someone else job to fix your mistakes. Find all the errors first, and deal with them yourself. The more polished and refined your work is, the more favorably it will be received when you’re finally ready to present it.

 4. Ask for (and take lots of) punishment: It is well worth finding yourself a professional writer or editor and asking/paying them to look at your work. Tell them to give you highly critical feedback with no sugarcoating. Let them go so far as to be cruel too, just so you really get the point. There is a lot of rejection and criticism involved in the publishing industry. Getting accustomed to it sooner than later is advantageous. If you want to be serious about your writing, then you’ll need to know everything wrong with your writing. Accepting and understanding the harsh realities of your shortcomings is a most important step to getting better.

 5. Disconnect: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, the Internet in general … we know how invasive social media and technology is in our lives these days. We also know that it can be good for promotion, building a brand, and having an online presence. But you know what else social media and technology is really good for? Procrastination, distraction, and countless wasted hours. Being able to unplug for long periods of time is more important than you may think. All those tweets you’ve posted might have added up the word-count of half a novel by now…

 6. Learn what good writing is: Honestly, there’s so much terrific writing out there, but there is also considerably more garbage as well. I’m constantly surprised by how many people don’t know the difference between the good and the bad. Art is subjective, true, but it isn’t that subjective when you remove ignorance and replace it with education. Duke Ellington said it best: “There are two kinds of music. Good music, and the other kind”. The same applies to writing.

 7. Have your own work space: It’s trendy nowadays to take your laptop to coffee shop or bar and write in public. I even advocate a change of environment/atmosphere when writing feels stifled. But I believe it’s more important to have and maintain your own private work space, a spot you can call your own with a desk and preferably a door you can close when you need to shut out the world in order to create your own.

 8. Dedicate to the craft: Serious writing is not something you merely do if or when you can find the time. It’s not just for Sunday afternoons, or the occasional evening, or a few hours a week when you can give it some attention. Make the time, and make lots of it. Tackle the craft daily and dedicate a generous portion of your existence to honing your skills. You’re only going to get out of it what you put into it, and serious writing requires a lot of investment.

 9. Time management: When it comes to the hours or days you’ve reserved for writing, make sure you stick to your guns. Consider it sacred. To most other people, your ‘writing time’ is merely ‘flexible time’. They will invariably think that you can cancel, minimize or postpone working when it suits you (or them). Tell these people that your personal work time is not negotiable; much like theirs isn’t at their day jobs. You don’t need a regimented schedule, but you do need to clock in the hour

 10. Remember the Three “P’s”: I’ll admit there’s still a hell of a lot more to say on the topic of writing tips, but what it all comes down to in the end are three things I believe writers need to remember above all else: Patience, Perseverance, and maintaining your sense of Purpose.
